Following the final UNIHUBS consortium meeting of 2025, project partners came together to review progress, reflect on recent activities, and align on key priorities for the next phase of implementation.
The meeting highlighted significant progress made over the past six months, particularly across African partner countries where local trainings and co-creation workshops have recently been delivered. These activities form a core part of UNIHUBS’ mission to strengthen collaboration between Higher Education Institutions and Digital Innovation Hubs, while improving practical, innovation-driven learning for students and educators.
Partners also discussed ongoing dissemination efforts at local and regional levels, including community events, stakeholder engagements, and online communication activities aimed at increasing the visibility and impact of the project.
In addition, the consortium reviewed plans for upcoming international activities, including a joint training programme scheduled to take place in Kenya in early 2026. Discussions also touched on the long-term exploitation and sustainability of UNIHUBS outcomes, with partners invited to contribute to shaping a shared strategy to ensure the project’s results continue beyond its lifetime.
The meeting reaffirmed the strong collaboration within the consortium and the shared commitment to delivering meaningful, practical impact across participating regions as UNIHUBS moves into its next implementation phase.
